Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 14, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Erin Herald website and related content available at ErinHerald.cyou (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Erin Herald Learning Studio Ltd (“Erin Herald”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), with a registered address at The Academy, 42 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, D02 YX88, Ireland.
By visiting the Site, browsing our guides, or submitting a workshop request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you should use the Site with a parent or guardian.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies. They are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Educational Disclaimer
Erin Herald provides educational content about home organization, cleaning routines, household maintenance, and practical habits for day-to-day living. The content is designed to be method-first: we explain sequence, surface compatibility, ventilation basics, and simple planning systems (for example: high-touch surfaces, dwell time, cross-contamination control, two-bucket method, and dry-to-wet cleaning order).
The Site does not provide medical advice. Any references to “healthy living” relate to common-sense household habits such as cleanliness, routine, and safe storage. Always read and follow manufacturer instructions for any cleaning products you use. If you have allergies, sensitivities, asthma, or other concerns, consult a qualified professional for advice tailored to your circumstances.
Household results vary. A routine that works well in one home may need adjustment in another due to building materials, ventilation, occupancy, pets, and schedule. We do not make guarantees about outcomes, time savings, or specific cleanliness results.
3. Description of the Site and Changes
The Site includes educational articles, room-by-room plans, seasonal checklists, and optional workshop request features. We may update, reorganise, expand, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also modify these Terms as described in Section 19.
Some content may reference commonly used household tools (for example: microfiber cloths, mop systems, vacuum attachments, or caddies) to explain technique. Unless we state otherwise, such references are for educational clarity and are not product endorsements or a storefront.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Attempt to access or interfere with the Site’s security, servers, or networks.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data from the Site without our written permission.
- Submit false information through forms, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage systems.
- Use the Site to send unsolicited promotional messages, spam, or abusive communications.
- Attempt to bypass access controls or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or creates risk for the Site, other users, or our operations.
5. Workshop Requests and Communications
If you submit a workshop request, you agree that we may contact you using the details you provide to respond, clarify your goals, and discuss possible formats. You are responsible for ensuring the information you submit is accurate and up to date.
We do not provide emergency services and we do not monitor form submissions continuously. For time-sensitive matters, use email or phone: [email protected] or +353 1 906 7138.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content—including text, checklists, templates, structure, design elements, and branding—are owned by Erin Herald Learning Studio Ltd or licensed to us, and are protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from the Site’s content without our prior written consent.
If you want to use our materials for a school, community group, or workplace session, contact us to discuss permission and attribution requirements.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may reference third-party services (for example, mapping services) or link to third-party websites. These third-party services are not controlled by Erin Herald, and we are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that the information will be complete, accurate, or suitable for your particular home or situation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Erin Herald Learning Studio Ltd and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total direct liability for claims arising out of or related to the Site will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Erin Herald Learning Studio Ltd from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
11. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labour disputes, pandemics, internet or telecommunications outages, cyberattacks, or failures of hosting or cloud providers.
12. International Use
The Site is intended for users in Ireland, but it may be accessed from other locations. We make no representation that the Site or its content is appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions. If you access the Site from outside Ireland, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site, except where mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. Unless it is not feasible, we ask for a 30-day informal resolution period. Please include relevant details and any screenshots or dates that help us understand the issue.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if your use creates risk for the Site, other users, or our operations. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Erin Herald regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings related to the Site.
18. Assignment and No Waiver
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to an affiliate or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
19. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a change is required by law or is administrative in nature, in which case it may take effect sooner. The “Last Updated” date above indicates when these Terms were last revised.
Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Electronic Communications
By using the Site and communicating with us electronically (for example, by email or through forms), you consent to receive communications electronically. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
